For him, chartering a $330-million yacht so that he and his family can enjoy a private vacation is money well-spent. The Serene goes for $5 million per week, and back in 2014, the Gates family spent a week aboard it as they went around the coast of Porto Cervo in Sardinia. It comes with six decks, a supersized bathtub, two Jacuzzis, a sky lounge, and 12 staterooms, among other amenities.
